Job title and responsibilities: Business Service Associate. My responsibilities at PREFERRED are varied, but include working closely with the Credentialing and Provider Relations Departments. I also help to ensure PREFERRED’s high standard of Quality Assurance by conducting various random audits, keeping abreast of HIPAA compliance and regulations and preparing for on-site reviews.

What you like most about your job: I really enjoy the variety in my job responsibilities. But most of all, I love working with the PREFERRED team. The entire staff is dedicated and hard working, yet we all have a great time doing our jobs and interacting with one another.

Favorite pastime: I have resolved that my favorite pastime for 2005 is going to be finishing up some home improvement projects that I have been diligently delaying. Unless, of course, the opportunity presents itself to do something else!

About your family: I have been married for 22 years to a truly great guy. Our sons will be 20 and 22 this year. Where does the time go?
