New National Agreements Signed!

PREFERRED is excited to announce that it has signed national agreements with Health Network America (HNA)/Triveris and American PPO for group health products.

HNA/Triveris is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) providing health benefit administrative services for self-funded employers, insurance companies, healthcare funds, trade unions, state and federal government, hospital systems, and HMO organizations.

American PPO, Inc. is a National Preferred Provider Organization with the majority of business in the Arkansas Region, extending into the following states: Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Missouri; with over 8,500 physicians, 225 hospitals, and 13,000 ancillary service providers.

The second quarter of this year is very promising with the addition of HNA/Triveris and American PPO in PREFERRED’s payor mix. We believe that the most important step in delivering value to our members is having strong payor relationships that allow our members to provide the quality physical, occupational, and speech language therapy services throughout the country. Our relationships with HNA/Triveris and American PPO validates our mission to connect our private practice members to health plans. PREFERRED continues to make strides in forging these associations because of their value to our private practice members.

Evaluating Health Plan Agreements

Each month in 2005, we are asking network members to visit our web site and complete a questionnaire on a selected health plan. Responses will be collected on the last day of each month. Data gathered will be used internally to help PREFERRED evaluate existing health plan relationships. During the month of May, we are requesting input on First Health/CCN.
