PREFERRED has signed a Workers’ Compensation agreement with Synergy Health Network (SHN) in GA, MS, TN, KY, NC, SC and LA.

Synergy Health Network (SHN) offers a highly qualified and locally convenient Workers’ Compensation Provider Network that ensures that superior healthcare services are delivered in both a timely and cost effective manner. SHN’s network of providers understands and supports disability management through utilization of appropriate medical services and aggressive efforts to return the injured worker back to gainful employment when medically appropriate.

Working with Synergy Health provides our network another opportunity to connect with workers’ compensation carriers on a regional level. Synergy’s delivery system provides our members in those respective states exposure to provide therapy services locally.

Additionally, PREFERRED has signed a Group Health EPO agreement with Schaller Anderson HealthCare, LLC in Arizona (Schaller).

Schaller has been serving Arizona since 1986. PREFERRED Member Center Update

Resources for Aetna of Arizona & California, CIGNA of Colorado and First Health SPT have been moved to the Member Center. This will eliminate the need for separate log in and passwords for each document. If you have not yet obtained your password for the Member Center, e-mail your request to preferred@preferredtherapy.com. Be sure to include your company name and Member Number.

Evaluating Health Plan Agreements

Each month in 2005, we are asking network members to visit our web site and complete a questionnaire on a selected health plan. Data gathered will be used internally to help PREFERRED evaluate existing health plan relationships.
