Greetings to our clients, friends and family:

December 2005 was a happy time for the team members at PREFERRED. We completed the year with over 1,035 network member sites. Every day brought many cards and communications from our network members, including those who have struggled through recovery from the terrible hurricane season. It was wonderful to hear that everyone was safe and rebuilding.

At our end-of-year party, planned by the “PREFERRED Fun Committee”, we experienced bowling, go-carts, games, laser tag and other unusual fun activities. The next week brought our annual Secret Santa potluck, at which we each created a poem or song dedicated to the individual whose name we drew. Please believe me when I tell you that there was limitless creativity and laughter.

We are fortunate that the staff can support one another through cross-training, allowing team members to enjoy extended vacations during the holidays. Somewhat rested and content to have spent time with family and friends, we are geared up for an eventful year, starting with the AAPPO meeting in Marco Island, Florida and immediately followed by Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego. Several state meetings are on the docket as is our annual Tactical Conference scheduled for May 19th and 20th.
