- Christy Beauchamp, Vice-President of PREFERRED, will continue
as President of the Pacific Regional Chapter of AAPPO through 2008.
- The Advisory Board has added a new member, William Martinez, PT/Owner of Alves & Martinez
in Elk Grove, California.
- The Credentialing Board has added an alternate, Kathleen Schmidt of TEAMWORK Rehab in St. Charles,
Missouri. Ms. Schmidt is a Lifetime Member of PREFERRED's network.
- The CPT Outpatient Coding and Billing course held August 23rd in San Diego was a resounding
success! This course, conducted by Rick Gawenda, P.T., will be back by popular demand in early
2008. Those of you who were not able to register due to the course being filled will have first rights. Feed-back
from our members regarding the next location for the course include Orange County, Phoenix, Dallas and
New Orleans. Many thanks to our newest vendor, PTOS, which helped sponsor the event, and thanks also
to PTOS CEO, Robert Brooker, for his attendance at the course.
