Reflections on 2004

Nearly 13 years ago my life changed when I started a little company called PREFERRED Therapy Providers. Looking back on what I could have, should have, would have done, I find that I have very few regrets, and a lot of pride in a company whose employees share a commitment to our network of nearly 1000 practices across the country.

2004 has been a wonderful year as we have had the opportunity to get together with many of our members at state and national professional meetings. POPTS, legislative challenges, Workers’ Compensation issues, staff shortages, reimbursement… True we have encountered these problems and more over the past 25 years I have been involved with this wonderful profession; and while hearing of these numerous concerns of private practitioners, overall, the attitudes remain upbeat, hopeful, and determined. The resiliency of practice owners continues to astound me.

On behalf of our Team here, I feel very privileged to wish all of you much happiness and success during these holidays and to let you know that we will carry on with working diligently for you in the coming years.

Jaxene Hillebert

President, PREFERRED Therapy Providers
